This Winter Night is a great tale of embracing your “situation” on moving on with life.  Lauren Gaines’ divorce just became final and she wanted some time all to herself.  She went to the cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains that was part of her settlement.  Colton Riley needs to get away and fast, so he drives to the family cabin and finds himself at the door of the neighbor seeking assistance because his cabin has no power.  Being in the midst of a blizzard leaves them spending Christmas Eve together.  They are attracted to each other and carries this back into their regular lives and through life’s happenings we see whether they are strong enough to stay together. Janice Sims penned an awesome tale that is full of adventure, suspense and love.  I give this novel 5 stars.
