His life though his thoughts, actions, beliefs and deeds….Posted: November 11, 2014
As I read, Pascal’s Life by N. s. Ugezene, I found myself intrigued and frustrated at times. I can appreciate what N. S. Ugezene conveyed and attempted to convey in penning of such a novel. I could truly appreciate “getting” inside Pascal’s head and laughed at his outright contradictions.
We see him as he struggles to finish his education, trying to maintain some type of employment without settling, his search for a meaningful relationship, witnessing the relationship of his “friends” and dealing with his parents who use him as the “maid” per him.
One truly experiences his growth as he “lives” his life. However, this novel needs editing. In addition to the blatant errors, there were thoughts that were incomplete, even sporadic as they just jumped in out of the blue. I am interested in seeing the development of this author and will be looking forward to reading other work (s) by him.
I give this novel 3 stars, June 25, 2012
