Black Reign by Sherrod Tunstall is a tale of young woman who wants to be a singer. It recounts the successes, pitfalls, relationships and naysayers.
It is extremely hard to address the story when the errors are so prevalent that you get frustrated with the story. I am a story driven reader and I could see the timeliness of the story and how it could happen but I rolled my eyes at all the “perfect body” people in the story, the detailed descriptions of what was being worn and car descriptions at every turn. However, to address the story, more gut was needed into why Ashley and Autumn relationship is so lacking and outside of a dinner and the Mother’s talk with Autumn, the father was MIA yet he was the only family member that was supportive of her career choice.

Let’s Wait Awhile: A Teenage Love: No Affair by Dyphia Blount is the beginning part of a story that could end any of sundry ways. In this book we read of teenagers Payne, her best friend Marquis, her friend Tiara and their parents/families/friends. Ms. Blount penned a riveting saga full of twist and turns that has to be experienced, not told about. This story has huge potential.
I was surprised that the synopsis is not part of this part of the story, it should be rewritten to reflect what is actually in the book. I was also surprised at how this book ended, definitely left you hanging and feels incomplete. This book also needs to be edited, the “errors” are distracting and interfere with the flow of the story therefore I can only give it 3 stars. This could easily be an awesome read once things are corrected and brought in line.

Giving My All to You by Sheryl Lister is an awesome read. This is the saga of Faith Alexander and Brandon Gray. We are pitched right into their will we be or won’t we be. We are held totally enchanted by their interactions and repartee.
Faith comes to Los Angeles in search of her father and before she gets to it, she is involved in a traffic incident that she has to be rescued. The first person at the scene does so and it’s Brandon.
Brandon just has to see that the woman he witnessed getting hurt while driving home was taken care of and had her belongings that he was determined to deliver personally. So, he stayed in the hospital until she was awakened and gave her the belongings that he retrieved from her car. However, once she awakened, he was immediately besotted and she was total enthralled.
Faith finally meets her father and during a later visit, learns that he is a partner in the company that Brandon’s family owns after her father reveals her inheritance. Now, she has to figure out how to tell him since she knows of his disdain for having a Vice President at the company.
Sheryl Lister pens a story that entertains and engages us. We don’t just read it, we experience their journey as well.
I give this book 5 stars!!

Tender Kisses by Sheryl Lister is an interestingly engaging tale that captivates the reader and keeps us wanting to know what is next. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Lister.
This is the story of Siobhan Gray and Justin Cartwright. Siobhan is fed up with being seen as the avenue to the inside of Gray Home Safety, which is her family’s successful home-safety company. She met Justin at an industry’s gathering and considered him just as the others before him….but no, he claimed to just want a “dance”.
Justin’s goal is to partner with Gray Home Safety and introduce the world to unique and needed home safety products. To this end, he attends an industry’s gathering at which he is totally captivated by this woman and sets his sights for getting her on the dance floor. He does and realize he wants more time with her.
They see each other casually and with much reluctance from her, then things change. Prior experience lead to each keeping things from the other and when the truths are unveiled, the question becomes….can “they” survive their spuriousness.
I give the novel 5 stars
